You Can Make A Difference!

The need is great in Northern Uganda for individuals to contribute their time, talents and resources to help lift out of poverty the struggling population of orphaned children. Indeed, the need is greater than any one person can meet on their own. Only together can we turn the tide in the sea of despair left in the wake of wars and HIV/AIDS in Northern Uganda.

African Promise Foundation provides several opportunities for you to get involved, from one-time donations and the purchase of African Promise Beads jewelry to volunteer positions on the APF team. Read on to learn about these opportunities. • Make a One-Time Donation — Every dollar you give makes a difference, as we work together to eradicate poverty in Northern Uganda! Click here to donate to African Promise Foundation.
• Buy African Promise Beads — Click here to see our selection of beautiful beaded jewelry made from recycled paper by HIV+ women in Northern Uganda.
• Host an African Promise Beads Party — Become an evangelist of African Promise Foundation by hosting an African Promise Beads Party in your home! Make and fulfill your own African Promise by sharing the APF story and opportunity with your friends, neighbors, co-workers and family.
• Staff a Show — Our experience has shows that we sell more African Promise Beads when people hear the APF story and learn about the impact they are making with every African Promise Beads purchase. As such, we are always in need of APF representatives to greet visitors to our booth at various craft and home decor shows in the Puget Sound area.
• Drive a Fundraiser — There are countless opportunities to raise funds to be contributed to African Promise Foundation and its initiatives. Run with one of our ideas or use your own influence and creativity to come up with an idea of your own!

Staff a Show

One of the more fulfilling things we’ve done right here at home since founding APF has been to share our story and the plight of the children and women in Uganda with our families, friends and neighbors. Home décor shows and craft boutique have provided a great setting for these conversations and to raise money through the sale of African Promise Beads™.

We’re currently working to compile a list of shows, boutique and other events in the Seattle area in which we’d like to feature African Promise Beads. Please contact us if you’re interested in staffing a boutique or show in your area! We’ll provide the product and the display and get you all set up. All you need to do is show up ready to share the story behind the beads with those at the event.
